1. After not being able to drive due to their visual disability, Mahan was able to be the first passenger in a self-driving car on public roads. Doing so opened a door for the disabled community as well as giving a prototype for the future cars of America. Self-driving cars have the ability to be safer than normal cars by not having humans as a factor of accidents.
2. Everyone could benefit from a driverless car because it would eliminate drunk driving and road rage. This would allow the streets to be safer and less chaotic than usual.
3. I would feel safer because I wouldn't have to worry about the person next to me cutting me off or slamming on their brakes. It would be less stressful knowing that people were not drunk driving by me or causing distractions.
4. Yes I do because I think that people will like the idea of having safer roads without the issue of drunk drivers or new drivers once the cars are deemed safe.

Photo Manipulation and Ethics

A) I've learned that when you manipulate photos there is a fine line between ethical and nonethical photos. Photoshop is very controversial and can cause many people to be upset about edited photos. Many major publishing companies do not tolerate doctored images at all, and can cause people to lose their jobs. B) The philosophy of photo manipulation for newspaper companies like the Washington Post and New York Times is to provide very strict guidelines for any sort of photoshop. C) I think that it is acceptable to altar an image as long as it does not affect the meaning of an image. I do not think it is ethical to crop somebody's face onto someone else's body because it is hinting that that is their body. I do, however, think that adjusting colors or lighting is acceptable. The story is about a man who races to a chapel on a girl's wedding day to stop the marriage. The girl seems to be waiting for him as he speeds through traffic in order to make it to her before it is too late. Right before they say their "I do's", he runs in just in time to stop it.
